In-person therapy in Westchester, NY. Virtual sessions available across New York and New Jersey
maybe you’re…
Wondering when life got so heavy
On the outside, you seem fine, but inside you’re carrying more worry, tension, or overwhelm than you want.
Doing your best to hold it all together
You’re managing work, family, relationships, and expectations, often putting yourself last and feeling worn down by the pressure.
Struggling in your relationships
Constantly second-guessing yourself, apologizing or managing everyone else’s emotions. Your relationships feel harder than they should, whether it’s with a partner, co-parent, family member, or someone else important to you.
Standing in the middle of a life change
You’ve been through a lot, such as divorce, career shift, grief, or an identity change, and you’re asking yourself, now what?
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Hey, I’M cheryl.
This is a space where you can be fully, unapologetically you.
My goal is to offer a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. This is a space where you can bring all parts of yourself, including your hopes, your struggles, and everything in between, and feel truly seen, valued and supported.
MY SPECIALTIES
-
You may find yourself putting others first, overthinking interactions, or feeling stuck in the same patterns despite your best intentions. In therapy, we’ll look at how these patterns form, how they show up in your relationships, and what feels possible moving forward. Together, you can begin to relate with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
-
You may find yourselves stuck in the same conversations, repeating patterns that leave both of you feeling frustrated, distant, or misunderstood. Couples work creates space to slow things down, hear each other more clearly, and understand what’s happening between you. From there, change can begin to take shape in a way that feels more workable over time.
-
Parenting can bring up more than you expect, such as old patterns, strong emotions, and moments where you don’t feel like your best self. Therapy offers space to step back, make sense of what’s happening inside you, and respond with more clarity and steadiness. This work supports you across stages, so you can feel more grounded in how you show up as a parent.
-
You’ve spent so much time making sure everyone else is okay that somewhere along the way, you lost touch with yourself. In therapy, we’ll sort through the patterns, pressures, and expectations you’ve carried across the many roles you’ve held. Together, we’ll help you feel more grounded in who you are and clearer about who you’re becoming.

Your mind may feel like it’s always on: planning, replaying, second-guessing, and bracing for what could go wrong. Even when things look fine on the outside, you may feel tense, exhausted, or like it’s never quite enough. Therapy helps you understand what’s driving that anxiety so you can feel more steady, less reactive, and more trusting of yourself.
-
You may have spent years trying to keep up, fit in, or push through in ways that don’t actually work for you. Over time, that can feel exhausting and discouraging. This work focuses on understanding how your brain works, building on your strengths, and finding ways of living that support your wiring instead of trying to force yourself into systems that don’t fit.
Let’s make therapy simple.
